The Team

Jake Fielding

Sound Editor, Designer & Overtone Founder

Jake is a sound designer whose passion for sound was sparked by his mother’s profession as a music therapist; from a young age, he was drawn to the power of sound and music on our cognitive and emotional state. He aspires always to create evocative and provoking sound design, drawing from personal experiences and psychology. Through field and sound effect recording, Jake aims to bring fresh new sounds to every project he works on. This ensures everything he is involved with has a unique palette – something he thoroughly enjoys.

Jack McCartney

Composer, Music Editor & Overtone Co-Founder

Jack is a composer, orchestrator, and music editor whose work encompasses film, television, games, trailers, and musical theatre. Jack’s musical journey began at an early age as a chorister, and he has been performing and creating music ever since. He is always looking for unique and impactful ways to make music that allows a story to flourish.
